I'm sure there are numorous threads on this, but the search function on this site is acting up a little.


I am looking to get a coffee table made. A lot of the ready-made ones I have seen are too big for our space. I had gotten a number of furniture made at a place in Shatin a few years ago, but did not have a good experience.


Are any of the shops on Queen's Road East any good?

Try Red Cabinet on Hollywood Road. Not sure what styles you are looking for, but they do good solid wood work. They're next to starbucks across from the old police station.

thanks for your recommendation. what kind of style is red cabinet? chinese? western? modern chinese? what about price range?

they are like modern chinese. I would say their prices are reasonable, not too cheap but not expensive either?
