I would like to buy one of those electric bikes from Shenzhen. I have seen one with the little motor sitting in a basket on the front handle bars, and to look at, it looks like any normal bike. Has anyone come across one of these over the border?? Or has anyone found a good bike shop over there?
Any help would be most appreciated.

Best place is in Shekou, over in Nanshan area. Many stores on Tai Zi Road, bikes that look like bicycles, ones that look like real scooters, etc. Getting it back over the border would be a problem, you'd have to hire a cross border driver and van.

You wil need a motorcycle license to use them in HK and have them registered and insured.
