Is there anywhere in Hong Kong that you can buy over-the-counter reading glasses, like you can in major stores in the UK and US?


(Before you say go to one of the many good optical shops in HK, I will need to buy three or our pairs of lessening strength over the next six months while my eyesight changes, and am looking for a way to avoid the high cost of new lenses each time.)

Over-the-counter reading glasses are quite plentiful and easy to find in Shenzhen's LoWu Commercial Centre. They generally cost around RMB40.00 -- very cheap. Bargaining is key, of course.
