Have recently purchased an old lamp and lamp shade from hollywood road - all I need now is to get the lamp shade recovered - any suggestions as to where I start?

Soong Arts Lampshade - on 6 square st - just off Hollywood rd - by the old temple. He has one fee basically $600 - whether you use his fabric or not. And $250 for rewiring. I just picked up a shade this week - using linen from the Western Market.
Only can do it the Chinese way - fittings I mean....
