I am not American so probably not the expert in terms of Ribs and their authenticity....but I do like the ribs served in Dan Ryan ( Admiralty), Outback Steak House and Fat Angelo [ Soho]....hope this helps.

You may want to try pepperoni's in sai kung or resto at the goldcoast, they're pretty good and cheap.

Innside Out in Sunning Plaza, Causeway Bay.
I believe they also have a Quarry Bay outlet.

Pepperonis and Anthonys Ranch in Sai Kung both do good ribs

i like Bubba Gumps in the Peak Tower, nice views too...but then I like Tony Roma's too, so prolly not enough of a 'ribs snob' to give a quality opinion lol

only place to go for ribs is Coyote's on Lokhart road, they are proper, and i am a ribs snob. 50% off if you try on a monday with super monday's card too.

Dan Ryan's? Pepperonis? Inside out?? Fat Angelos???? Come on ppl are you kidding me?? The food at those places is all together awful.
There are no good ribs to be had in HK. I'm sorry. We can't compromise our taste buds and pull a "well, its good for HK". There just aren't any, period. I mean its even not easy to find good authentic ribs in NYC - you think you are going to find them in HK?
BBQed Ribs is one of the few things that I refuse to eat outside of the US on those grounds

Anthonys Ranch is owned and run by an American so would presume they are fairly authentic.

I'm not ashamed to admit I like Tony Roma's honey ribs.

The tastiest ribs in Asia are probably here http://www.naughty-nuris.com/ As is the coldest draft beer. I enjoy going here from time to time.

I'll probably catch crap for saying this but, Ruby Tuesdays.

I don't know if it's that you guys are used to dried tough ribs that you can make such recommendations, but my definition of good ribs is that it's got to be fall off the bonesy, and be saucy and succulent. My top pick in HK is hands down Jed's Just Ribs. Not a sit down restaurant but can order through Cuisine Courier.

I recall a Best Ribs in HK competition many years ago... all the players lined up to have their ribs tasted (anonymously) by the experts....
And the winner was?
Cafe de Coral. I kid you not.

Wagyu

I'm happy to take the abuse and suggest TGI Fridays in TST. The ribs just melt in your mouth.

It has to be Wagyu. Great meat, great sauce, well cooked.
