Best Sunday Brunch in Hong Kong?
I am moving from Los Angeles to Hong Kong and leaving my dear friends behind. Yes - we will be missing all the sunday brunches with girls catching up and telling our fun stories from the week or weekend.
My questions are: What are the best places to have brunch in Hong Kong? Are there any girls out there that would like to join me and perhaps make a new genuine friend originally from Texas?

How old are you Jodi? Don't worry about leaving your friends behind, cause you're gonna make heaps of new ones here! Just gotta find the right group, someone you can trust, and it will all work out, and before you know it, you'll have a regular restaurant to share sunday brunches with your new friends!

There are tons of places. Hong Kong is known for its variety of different restaraunts. All you need is to walk down the street in Soho and you should find a number of perfect brunch spots. When are you coming to HK?

I am noting your login names and I'll send an email to see if anyone would like to join a "get-to-know-you & the-more-friends-the-merrier" champagne brunch within the next month. Single or attached you're all welcome b/c everyone needs a ladies ear to keep us all sane (and laughing)!

Champagne bunch buffet in Gold Coast Hotel
Posted by Thames (2733 days ago)
They're all pretty good deals but some of the hotels serve sparkling wine and call it champagne. Gold Coast hotel only offered a paint-stripping red or white when we brunched there once, so if you're looking for quality food and drink then you need to be prepared to up the ante and go for the top hotels, like Nick's suggestion above. Inter-Con used to be generous with the Moet, not sure if that's still the case.

Another vote for Conrad, in the restaurant on ??/Floor, i'm not sure which, but the buffet is awesome, plus all the wine you can drink, plus a main course dish from the menu, if you can fit it in as well...

The sunday brunch at Grand Hyatt Grissini's is great.

The champagne brunch at Cafe Deco @ Jumbo is excellent. With the cooler and drier weather moving in, it should be great to sit outside again!

I know I'm a little bit late but I would suggest trying Japanese for brunch! I know this place Moeh Japanese Dining and it has wonderful set lunches that are fresh and delicious. I'm hooked!
BTW, I miss LA too.

Went to Red @ IFC today for brunch. Beautiful view, although the sky is still a bit hazy. Good food, great atmosphere. They're a bit short on hands though, so you have to be patient to have your order taken. But hey, it's Sunday, we need to slow down and take it easy.

Hello, do you guys know the price average per person at Red?

I have recently arrived back in HK to live. We used to go to the china jump in causeway bay for a fantastic champagne brunch then stay there for the 2 4 1 c*cktails. Sadly on my rtn I have found it long gone. I would love to join a sunday champagne brunch club, count me in!!!

For casual English/American style brunch (hash brown, grits, scrambled eggs...), try the Flying Pan on O'Bailey Street or Brunch Club on Peel Street.

So is this thread dead? Or is there still an on-going ladies champagne brunch get together?

my favourite places for brunch are
The Parlour @ Hullett House, TST, lovely old colonial terrace, brunch on saturday and sunday from 11 til 3 i think, free flowing veuve cliquot, amazing food
Top Deck @ Jumbo , Aberdeen, great fun for families and visitors as you have to get boat over to the floating restaurant. food is ok but setting is great and its cheap with sparkling wine option too. i think 11 - 4pm

Hi there. Is this group still going? Recently came to Hong Kong - would love to join Sunday brunch group .... Western style, e.g bagels, corn fritters, eggs and bacon. Any suggestions. .... Have tried Fryin Pan but too squished to get a big group in.
