NOW TV does not own AXN; Sony does. NOW TV buys the satellite feed for broadcast into HK; other operators do the same for others places in Asia, Latin America and Europe. It is AXN which buys the programmes, in the case of CSI from CBS. NOW TV does not select or directly buy the programmes - it is the same concept with other channels such as HBO, CNN, Discovery where NOW TV pays for the feed and broadcasts the channel as supplied.
NOW TV did not 'create' FOX Crime which is, surprise, a FOX Broadcasting company. NOW TV is offers FOX Crime to subscribers but, again, it pays for the feed but has no control over programming.
FOX would probably like to get exclusive rights to CSI and may do so when AXN's contract with CBS comes up for renewal.
