Now TV - changing programs on channels

I know this is a long shot, but anyone know of any recourse for Now TV's practice of signing you up to certain channels with the lure of specific (high rated) programs, only for a month or two to pass and they move them to entirely different channels?

They seem to do this with sport and also now they have created a crime channel and have moved the CSI type shows, to a new channel - which of course has a separate subscription and subsequent additional fee?? Anyone dealt with this previously and had any successful. Just wanted to be armed before I call.

The crime channel is FOX Crime. CSI still appears on Star World. Methinks Now TV has little control over Mr Murdoch...

mm, but I do not have a contract with Mr M, and I don't think he's in charge of the programming... but could be??!

Its actually how they have changed AXN that concerns me. NOV TV have pulled a lot of the existing shows from this channel and moved them to FOXCRIME.

NOW TV does not own AXN; Sony does. NOW TV buys the satellite feed for broadcast into HK; other operators do the same for others places in Asia, Latin America and Europe. It is AXN which buys the programmes, in the case of CSI from CBS. NOW TV does not select or directly buy the programmes - it is the same concept with other channels such as HBO, CNN, Discovery where NOW TV pays for the feed and broadcasts the channel as supplied.

NOW TV did not 'create' FOX Crime which is, surprise, a FOX Broadcasting company. NOW TV is offers FOX Crime to subscribers but, again, it pays for the feed but has no control over programming.

FOX would probably like to get exclusive rights to CSI and may do so when AXN's contract with CBS comes up for renewal.
