not paying house rent for nearly one year

The landlady is renting a small village house and the tenant was out of the country for several months. He never paid his rent since he left Hk for nearly a year.
What is the legal way to force him out of the house and to make him pay his overdue rent?
He did it once and he paid and only stayed for one month in Hk and left without paying his monthly rent. The landlady is fed up and wants him out and wants to get her money he owed for the rent.
Any suggestions is highly appreciated.

If the loss is less than HKD 50K, then file it with Small Claims Tribunal. However, it's highly unlikely to recover the loss re the tenant left hong kong a year ago.

File a claim in the Land Tribunal to apply for possession of the house and arrears of rental, if you need assistance contact our offices.
