Find owner of a vehicle?

ANy idea where to ask if I only have the registration of a vehicle and need to find the owner?

Will the govt help?

I think you can do so by going to the Transport Department and paying a fee

For what purpose? If it involved and accident, police reporting would be the proper process. I don't think the Transport are allowed to just dish out this type of information to the public. People should have privacy protected against such tactics, especially as people could take down numbers at peril just to harass these people.
