Hi everyone

I'm here to post a question and I hope someone can help me. I have a 4 yr old son and am currently pregnant with another baby. Im too sick to look after my son and do house chores. My husband works full time and has a gd job.
I want to sponsor my hubby's sister to Hong Kong to look after my kid. She has good experience of taking care of children so she wont have any prob.
My question is- how should I apply for her visa? Should I apply for a domestic helper visa for her or what?
Pls help me. I'm having a horrible pregnancy. I cant eat anything due to all these vomitting and dizziness and really need someone to take care of my son. His school is also getting affected.
Please help.

Hi,

The best thing is to apply for a long term visit visa stating your need for care during pregnancy. Get a doctor letter and submit it the HK immigration. We did the same and had our mother in law for 3 months (could have been extended by another months). it depends on nationality but you can get upto 6 months per visit

good luck...

dont go for a domestic helper visa.
