My daughter is 4.5 years old. She brushes regularly twice a day, washes her mouth after every meal, but she constantly has bad breath.Help!

Do you go over the brushing once she has finished?. If you dont you really need too. A child cant physically brush their own teeth properly till they are at least 12 years old, some kids even older. She also could have tooth decay in one or some of her teeth. Mabe go for a check up with a Dentist to be sure. Smelly breath usually comes from the gums or tooth decay. It also can come from the nasal passages if the child has a stuffy nose. Smelly breath can sometimes come from the stomach too, this happens if a person is eating food they are intollerant too.
