removing old photos from old album

I have old photos that are stuck in the old sticky (magnetic) album and I've tried getting them off but having lots of trouble without tearing the photos.

I am going to scan them but I would still like to remove them as they're getting badly marked. Is there an easier way to remove them than trying to peel them off?

you can purchase an adhesive remover.

i think the name is called UNGLUE but i am not sure.

i think i saw it at Jumbo Stationary store at Pacific Place mall or at Sam's Stationary store near the escalator.

google it on the scrapbooking sites - the hairdryer and dental floss method has been recommended to me at classes.... also there is a group called www.scrappinggals.com here in hong kong that have workshops and sell all the various bits and bobs for making the new archival albums up as well as the supplies like "unglue" I would suggest giving them a call.
