Hi, my little boy is 3 1/2 y.o. I believe he has a condition called phimosis (his foreskin has not yet retracted). Has any other mums and dads out there had to deal with this situation? and if anyone can recommend a paediatrician in HK who specialises in this area would be much appreciated. Have read that circumcision is not necessary anymore and that steroid cream can be used to treat this condition?

Hi, we use Danny Ting in Central and although my son hasn't had any problems yet (he's 6mnths old), she has treated my friends' son who was constantly having problems with infection etc up to the age of about 5yrs. Although he didn't have phimosis, I'm sure Dannie Ting will be able to help your son get the right treatment for his condition.

You do not need to be concerned at 31/2, I believe that you need not be worried until 5.
My GP reassured me that this was fine.

what if his penis balloons when he urinates? he does not seem bothered by it.
