do they sell wood? i have seen plenty of hardware stores but none that have a variety of wood

Sai Kung "brothers' hardware store sells wood of all types and will even cut it to your required size. May not be that convenient for you to trek to sai kung.

Wood ... Lots in Wanchai - you will see them cutting it in the street in Lockhart road. I get mine at Queens Rd West in Sheung Wan - somewhere near 128.

Is anybody aware of someone willing to do some DIY work , fixing things in an apartment ? OK to work in Shau Kei Wan ?
