I'm looking for an English or French name or any name easy for pronounciation and to remember.


I want it to be a girl's name and sounds similer as Chinese pronounciation "Zhiyao",


A friend told me a name "Zeo", but found out later that it's "Zoe", not"Zeo" .


Can anybody has an idea?

I know a "Gio". Although this Gio is a he, there are many female names which start with Gio.

So far you've had Greek and Arabia names. It is quite difficult because some people are not aware of a name's origin - we're all children of the world now I guess. Think it will be hard to find a good match.


Gigi (pronounced JEE-jee or zhee-ZHEE) is French and comes from the book by Collette.


Chantal is French and means song or singer.


Cher (like the singer) is French and means beloved.


Cheri/Cherie also means beloved.



Zinnia is a flower.

If you like ZEO then there's no reason why you cannot use it. It's unique and is a totally different word to ZOE.
