How much is a single entry visa to go to Shenzhen these days? What about if you are British - still more expensive?

Brit friends of mine have always got their visas beforehand in HK (as I believe that the rules changed recently) so maybe check that before you get all the way up there and find you can't get one at Lo Wu. Kjshek - have you got one recently at Lo Wu?

I think the rules have changed as the british consulate 's website says that no visa is available at the border as of now. ( read travelling to China)

I had a friend who said he recently got fined, and was turned back ,and lectured when he tried to get a visa at Lo Wu holding his British passport.
It was available a few months ago still for HKD $ 450 !
