Is there anywhere in central, that I can buy a goldfish and tank/ stones etc, or am I best to go to Monkok goldfish markets and cart back ina cab. Not after anything exotic or fancy.

I would suggest Mongkok. Even though they do have lots of exotic fish, they have the basics too.
