I'm the legal guardian of my colleague's son here in Shanghai (and we've gone through the paperwork at the bureau, necessary for him to study here). I'm now considering a move to another part of China, but my colleague's son is continuing with his studies (he's still a minor).
I believe I'll still be legally liable if anything happens - so the question is, how do we go about transferring the legal guardianship? Do I need to personally go down to the bureau again? With his father?

His father can do the process without you. Go through the same process again.

Cool! But in the meantime, before his father does the process, I'm still legally liable, yes?
