Can anyone suggest a magazine for an 8 yr old (preferably a UK magazine). I want to make a year subscription for her christmas gift. Ideally a magazine with just young girly stuff, e.g. fashion, fun things to do, puzzles and interesting stores - no boy problems or mature stuff. Either a magazine name or a website would be useful. A name of a bumper book would also be helpful. Thanks.

Highlights - loved it as a kid growing up, and recently saw a current issue - still appealing and wonderful. NOT a UK mag, and more "literary" perhaps, with good stories, puzzles, and not too much "teeny bopper" stuff.
