Buying a goose in Hong Kong

Hi,

I was trying to get a goose to cook it as a xmas roast (traditional in germany).... but I cannot find one. I asked at the big supermarkets (Oliver's, City Super etc) and at Leo's fine food, but no help here. Interestingly, if I search for Goose hong kong on google, I see that apparently several restaurants offer goose. I almost suspect they mean duck....

anyone knows where I can find a goose in Hong Kong?

thanks!

you might be suprised how many restaurants do actually sell geese (roasted) and not ducks although they will also tell you when it is a duck. personally I don't know the difference between the two in taste when they are cooked/roasted in the same way (except for size and I think geese don't eat fish?).

I bought a fresh (dead!) goose in Wellcome, Sai Kung a few years ago. Might be worth you ringing their head office to find out which, if any, of their branches still sell them.
