We were planning to buy one for our LO, any pros and cons on the baby walker?

pros: great entertainment for baby and baby can be mobile on his/her own for the first time
cons: doesn't really promote walking and some believe it may actually delay walking
if you have steps in your help, there is a potential danger of it flipping
prolong use each time can be bad for spinal development
i got one for my baby but she only used it for about 2 months. she loved it but once she could crawl, she didn't want to sit in it anymore.

Cons:
- the use of walkers has been widely discouraged by many pediatricians due to the high risk of injury.
- even without steps, some babies can get up to quite high speeds and hurt themselves when they hit stuff.
