Marriott Phuket Beach Resort. 2-bedroom Villa. Spacious Living Room for your kids to go around. Full equipped kitchen for you to cook something for kids if they don't like Thai food.

They also offer playgroup for your kids.

When are you going?

We just stayed in a "family villa" in Koh Yao Noi (40 minutes by ferry from Phuket). It came down to HK$ 440 per person per night. Definitely recommended and a very great retreat with outstanding staff and a very relaxing environment.

We've stayed at Marriot Courtyard in Surin (big water slide) as well as the Marriot Courtyard in Kamala (smaller slide, still fun, just not as big). Both have kids clubs and affordable 2 bedroom with patio decks.

I recently stayed at the Anantara but it might be a bit adult for the kids. I also stayed a night or two at the Renaissance next door which would be better for your kids, they have a kiddie swimming pool and water slide. The hotel is also brand new and has a little golf shuttle to the Turtle Mall.

With kids this is probably the best choices - it's a pool villa with 2-3 rooms, in house maid and spa.

Lots of places for kids... Bets bet is a villa with own pool and with common facilities as well - like a restaurant. Access to the sea is also a great idea in high-season (when the monsoon winds are not bringing in a big swell)... Surin Beach is good, Kata Beach is better - a new place opened up called Kata Rocks is starting to be a hit:
