Unaccompanied Child Flying LHR - HKG - Recommendations??

My 9 y.o, will need to fly from London back to Hong Kong as an Unaccompanied child.


Any recommendations for airlines, tips, do's and don'ts?

We sponsor a couple of minors to go to school here in Bali - they are from the Philippines - when they go back for holidays they fly with CX - we pay USD25 per child each way to have a minder make sure they get to where they are supposed... never had a problem with that.

I use Virgin to do exactly this and current experience is good.

Thanks Ed, we've actually gone ahead and booked her on CX, and she arrives on Monday.


I think it was a toss-up between CX and Virgin because we'd never fly Bloody Awful again and certainly wouldn't trust them with our daughter.
