Planning a trip to Phuket over CNY, but with all this unrest in Thailand, wondering whether I should cancel. We have a direct flight to Phuket but on return we have a few hour stop over in Bangkok. Anyone has any thoughts on this matter. Should we reschedule our ttip? Is it very unsafe to go??

I don't believe the unrest is affecting Phuket --- and even in Bangkok it is limited to specific areas which can be avoided. If you are only transiting in the Bangkok airport I would not be concerned.

There is no violent political unrest in Phuket and you are fine at the BK airport. I strongly suggest you do not change your travel plans on the information you have provided.
