does anyone know how to add text over graphics in front page 2003. I dont want to use back ground as it tiles the graphics. I just want one graphic image that i have and i want to then type my text over the image.

You might make a "table" or "cell" to lay over top of the page (from the toolbar, the icon might look like a little "grid"), adjust and position it to where you like. Use the graphic you want set to background image just for that cell only (which won't affect the main page background). Then you should be able to type in whatever text you like over top of it.
There are other ways to do what you want too, but I think what I suggested might be the quicker and easier way for doing it in frontpage.
