Does anybody know of a good trumpet teacher? I have checked Tom Lee, and it seems they offer group lessons, aimed mainly at children. I'm looking for private lessons for an adult.

A local muso-colleague of mine is a trumpet teacher who trained in Aus. I'll see him this evening and check if he has any vacancies and, if so, post his details back here tomorrow. BTW what standard are you?

Aha, well I think he takes all types anyway. Might be worth giving him a call. His name is Paul Chiu and his mobile number is 9200 4196. He's a music teacher with the Leisure & Cultural Services Dept (mostly kids and in groups) but he also does private lessons.
