What to do with glasses and lenses after Lasik?

I've got two pairs of glasses and 8 month's worth of disposable contact lenses hanging about now that I've had LASIK. What can I do with them? Can anyone suggest a good home for them? Cheers!

I assumed 10 was thinking of donating them to a charity. When I had my eyes lasered in the UK I was delighted to be able to put several pairs of specs in one of the collection jars, contens of which the clinic regularly sent to eye centres in parts of Africa and Asia. Maybe someone knows of a simialr set-up here? I'll ask around and post here if I hear anything.
