My accommodation is taken care of by my employer. He now wants to raise our rent, but I have yet to see the original lease or sign any contract.
I did some research through the department of justice website and found that it is illegal to charge more rent to a subtenant than the actual rent on the lease. However, the title for the section is for tenants who have left the country. Does this still apply for all subtenants?
