Pokémon toys/figures?

Hi all, anyone know a place in HK to pick up Pokémon related merchandise? Looking to buy some toys/figurines for my kids and online non-HK sites charge piracy rates for this stuff.

My kids are Poke-nuts! I found a few soft toys and other stuff at Sogo in Causeway Bay. There are only one or two shelves, low down and tucked away on the toys floor. You could also try Apita at Cityplaza in Taikoo Shing.

I just wanted to update with my findings for future pokémon hunters:


• Apita had a shelf of toys. Mostly miniature dolls (exactly what I wanted). Apart from the little miniatures there wasn't much else but variety was good with the miniatures they had.

• Sogo had something similar but variety was better, but not what I was after.

• I also visited 188 Oriental in Wanchai which is a console game mall but has a few model/toy shops there as well. Most of the shops were closed at 1300 but I did manage to find a few things. Probably not worth it but there are items there.


Certainly not as good as, say, Pokémon store in Tokyo, but better than the online stores like Amazon where people seem to charge the YEN price in USD…
