We have an iMac and want a good MP3 player. We have an iPod (and one is enough!) I am keen to buy a Creative Zen V Plus or IRiver with 4-6 GB storage but I am told they are not compatible with Mac. Surely it is possible with these non-Mac MP3 players, to drag and drop music files? Has anyone solved this issue or able to offer good suggestions?

They should come with Mac compatible software (I can't say for sure, but not doing so would alienate a rather large market for them). First have a look at Versiontracker.com and do a search for "Zen" or "iRiver" and see what pops up. If no dice there try sourceforge.net
Unfortunately the little patch that the guy at badfruit.com created (to make other mp3 players work with iTunes) is PC_only at the moment.
