Any venues for fly fishing? The reservoirs are too hard, as you cannot take a boat onto them, and its impossible to have a backcast from shore.

Its possible to fly fish in the reserviors, just a bit more difficult, make sure you have a licence. There are also fish ponds in Sai Kung and in Yuen Long where you can fly fish. Salt water fly fishing as well is possible in HK esp over the winter months for Japanese Sea perch.
You can contact the Mandarin Sports Fishing club for more info, some of our members are keen flyfishermen
