Taking Toddler to Halloween Bash Ocean Park

ORIGINAL POST

We've just been given free tickets to go to the Halloween Bash at Ocean Park.

I'm thinking of taking my 2 year old.

Do you think this is a good idea? It'll be from 6.30pm - midnight.

She sleeps well in the stroller but just wondering if the environment is going to frighten her.

Just such a waste if we don't use the tickets.

Do you think it is okay?

It might be a bit frightening for a 2 year old. I took my son a few years ago when he was 4 and he was scared and we ended up staying in Kid's World.

I know a 3 yr old who went for the bash and was spooked for a long time. At christmas the dancing Santa in school made her howl !

I know that my 6 year old would be scared witless. Better to leave your daughter at home or to skip the Halloween Bash until she's older. It's quite creepy.

Hi MayC,

I think the other posters might be correct in that your 2 yr old could be overwhelmed by the event....but how does your little one respond to Halloween and other spooky stories? It might be a way to gauge her reaction. My little boy seems to enjoy Halloween, in spite of being a little bit scared he is quite fascinated.

I might be interested to buy your tkts if you are not going to use them :)

Don't bring the 2 year old, Ocean Park's Halloween bash is intended for teenagers, and adults. The one in Disneyland is more appropriate for her.
