Im going to NYC via korea. Is there any handbaggage restrictions? or is this only if you go thru UK?

The rule a few weeks ago was no liquids or gels of any kind or quantity. I heard the USA just eased this to allow small toothpaste tubes and very small bottles of things like hand creams, plus they now allow drinks that have been purchased after you go through airport security. My solution would be to carry sealed, sample size containers in a separate pouch and be prepared to part with it if asked. Look at your airline's web site or send e-mail to their customer service.
