Hey does anybody know a good washing machine repair or even a general handyman who's good but cheap (doesn't charge "gweilo" prices)?

Came today within 1h, repair within 2-3h after the call (washing machine pump replaced).
Cost: 1050 HKD which is cheaper than buying a second hand + transport (and eco friendly).

Well that was fun.... just had Siemens official guy come in, state the obvious (I too can read the error code online, thkx), and leave without doing anything. All for the low, low price of 470. Later they may call back with a further estimate on parts, and perhaps fix it next week.
THis after waiting a week for the good man to show up.

And btw eff you Siemens. You machine breaks one a year and then you take too long to fix.

Well then... got the Siemens washdry fixed
Mr Ho: 1400, all in. done in about an hour or so, less than 24 hrs after calling him.
Shady Siemens: final estimate of 5200. oh plus the 470 for merely looking at it, not taking it apart or anything, for five minutes the day before. Scum.bags.
Siemens wanted to replace ten parts, incl a circuit board and water pump which clearly work fine and dandy. . Mr Ho and I decided to replace only the broken part. Totally shady semen indeed.
