Living in Fairview Park (Yuen Long)

Hi everyone

Can anyone please tell us what it is like to live in FVP?

We have a 2 year old daughter and are thinking of moving out there from Hung Hom.

Are there many Expat families with children living there?

Is it reasonably convenient?

Would also like to know if anyone can recommend a good agent.

Thank you very much

yes it's convenient - there's pretty much everything you need within FVP itself, eg supermarket, bakery, vegie shop, butchers, flower shop, pharmacy, Mannings, post office, beauty salon, doctors, ATM, Fotomax, restaurant/cafe .....

convenient in terms of getting out and about - regular shuttle buses to Sheung Shui & Yuen Long for MTR , in mornings and evenings there are buses to/from Central/Wanchai, Prince Edward/Hung Hom and also some to Tsing Yi.

You can search their website for more info re shuttle bus times and facilities, etc.

Not a bad place to live if you're looking at a move away from the city.

Is your daughter going to school at the moment? I know people who send their 2 year olds from FVP to Kowloon Tong for school but on the other hand there are others who have moved from FVP to Kowloon so their kids don't have to travel far everyday. Just something to consider. HTH
