Eeek. Pollution index just went up. Got carried away catching up on today's news and looking at this site when I starting sniffing a few minutes ago and realised that there was a very acrid and unpleasant burning smell wafting around the house. It was only then that I remembered I'd put a small pan of pasta on to boil about an hour ago... The stainless steel pan is now black. Does anyone have any remedies to return it to its former gleaming glory? Please?!
