Are these people worth using? Even though I am only moving a couple of miles and have only one floors worth of stuff to move I would like it done quickly and in a reasonable fashion. Or should I go and hire a removal truck?
Last time I moved the fellahs didn't have a screwdriver between them.

I've been a seller on two occasions where the buyer hired him - & whilst I wasn't paying - he & his "mate" certainly wrapped the sofa & [many months earlier] a bed up very well before setting off to deliver the items - and even paid me for one of the items as the buyer bought it "sight-unseen" and couldn't even spare the time to see and pay me for the bed.

go for the local vans, much much cheaper and most speaks enough english to get by
