Looking for clothing alterations, cheap DVDs

Hi all, I'm new to Hong Kong and not sure where to buy cheap DVDs. Not looking for bootlegs necessarily, just something cheaper than HMV if possible.
Also I need to have some simple alterations done (hems taken up on pants, mostly) and I'm wondering if someone can recommend a good place. I live in Wanchai and work in North Point, so anywhere in or between those two areas is fine.

For DVD, try the local place in Causeway Bay behind Sogo.

For alterations I go to Dorothy 2/f Melbourne Plaza in Central - I know it's out of way for you but close enough. Also any local laundry service will do this for small fee.

There is a tailor in Kornhill Plaza (Taikoo) that is very good and inexpensive for alterations.
