Buying clothes in HK...Where to go?.
Posted by notyou (104 days ago)
Help! Where can I go to shop for clothes? I don't want cheap market stuff, nor do I want to pay for Lane Crawford either. I like to go to large stores so I spend less time there. I am looking for myself and a few kids. Is there anywhere besides Wing-On? Thanks so much.

- Sogo in Causeway Bay.
- Any number of stores around Sogo.

Sesame - is there a Banana Republic and Mexx in HK or are you meaning buying online? Love BR but haven't seen a store in HK before.

sorry, my mistake about Banana Republic. There used to be a MEXX shop in Festival Walk; my friend just told me it has closed down unfortunately:(

What about the factory outlets?

There used to be a very small Banana Republic in the Ocean Terminal, TST in I think it's called "Lux". Also one in the Duty Free shopping mall off Nathan Road. Have to admit I haven't been in the vacinity of either for a few years, so they may have closed down.

Outlets on Johnston road, Wanchai - obvious names like Super Sample, Sample King, Export Shop etc. Stanley Market for kids, esp. younger ones.
