Canadian Citizen milk cheque

Hello, I am a Canadian citizen living in HK with a non-resident status and my son was born in HK 4 years ago. Anyone knows if my son is eligible for milk money fromthe Canadian government which pays up to when he is 18?

don't think so, believe you only get the child benefit IF you are resident in canada.

highly doubtful as you aren't paying the taxes to the CDN govt required to fund the handout
