Thoughts on J Residence

Hey all. Contemplating a move to J Residence. Have inspected, and apartments look pretty good (despite limited kitchen facilities), while facilities look great. Anyone a curent/ex resident? Any pitfalls to be aware of? Thanks in advance

What's the price range for J residence these days? I think the area is pretty good these days. And good supermarket at Taste at Hopewell Ctr.

Yeah, I live in the area already. Price is arouind $28k for a 2 bedroom 820 sq ft. Relatively happy with the price, just more interested in whether people have good or bad things to say about the building which may not be evident to someone from a brief inspection,

Only one 2-bedroom per floor, so take it if you can get it. Facing is important- lower floors can be dark. Beware of low floors facing the tram and playground - noisy. Unbeatable location - accessable to all transport. No parking space if you own a car or bike. Great gym, sauna. OK pool. Fairly well managed.

Great - thanks drm888, this is exactly the kind of detail I was hoping for - particularly as what we've been shown to date is either very low floors, or apartments facing the building quite near across the street (Ship Street): which it seems can be quite dark. Appreciate the observations!
