Would like to know which are the best options to call India ,to a landline as well a mobile

4G, the best place is to go to Tsim Sha Tsui and go to Chung King Mansion and they have various shops selling calling cards. They are real cheap. You can have 300+ mins for just $40.

The cards I recommend to you are 'Excite' or 'Ok Acha'.

You may as well get these cards in Jordon if you see some Nepalese shops. But Tsim Sha Tsui is a better option.

the chakde calling card is very very erratic
sometimes it deducts more than actuals
shall look out for these cards

4G I guess thats no avoidable, what I do is buy 1 of each card and test which works longer. I must say no matter the deduction, its still cheaper than the normal IDD services you get.

Excite and ok Acha should be fine. Get 1 of both and test it.

I am using IDD1609, which is a post-paid service and no monthly fee and no contract period. The rate call to India (both mobile and fixed) is HK$0.6 from 1 Oct 09. The quality is very good. Worth a try.
