heavy duty blender

I am looking for a heavy duty blender , one that can handle icecrushing, powdering hard nuts etc.
Any suggestions on brand
indication of price/ where to buy in HK etc would be much appreciated

I saw a few in fortress .. but non of them seem to be heavy duty

Panhandler, possibly Pantry Magic, should have good ones. I'd give them a call if I were you. Also, I saw one being demonstrated in IFC CitySuper this week - I didn't see the brand but it looked fairly heavy duty.

Incidentally, I bought a quite pricey Sunbeam blender which I used about eight times before a small but vital plastic part broke. Their Canadian head office didn't reply to my numerous communications asking about spares so eventually I ended up ordering the part from Australia to pick up when I went there on holiday. However, the Sunbeam agent there had managed to order in the wrong piece even though I had provided the correct part number... Gave up with Sunbeam, it went in the lapsap and I bought a much cheaper Moulinex (that says it does all the same functions) in Bangkok. Just a warning that with all these gadgets, not only Sunbeam, you've got to take into consideration the ease/difficulty of getting hold of spare parts if you're unlucky enough to need them.

shop sales usually try to hard sell the stuff they have in their shop, the reason of posting this here is to get some input from end users,
Thanks for the Sunbeam advise.
I'll take a look at Pantry magic/ pan handler/ City super
