HKG to Guong Zhou?

A friend is flying in to HKG Airport from Sydney to travel to an exhibition in Guong Zhou (sp?) next month. What is the best way for him to travel there. Apparently, he heard there was a bullet train direct to GZ. Is this true?

What's the best and most efficient way for him to travel there?

not a bullet train, but there is an express train from Hung Hom to Guangzhou. I believe there are also ferries from SkyPier (the ferry terminal on Chek Lap Kok) directly to Guangzhou Nansha (that would be the best/fastest way to go (1hr), and more comfortable than the train IMHO)

It would be interesting to ask him where he heard about the bullet train - and even more so to hear the answer. The express train service from HH is good, but I agree that for someone arriving at HKIA the ferry would probably be the better option.
