Pedestrian accident. How do I find the outcome

I was walking through Causeway Bay yesterday afternoon at 5pm and saw a young woman get hit by a car. She was quite young and it reminded me of my daughter. I ran over to her and she was on the ground, will not go into graphic details but the site was horrific. I wanted to help but she had facial spasms, lots of fluid loss etc & it was horrific to see. A western lady came straight over & tried to find a pulse. A policeman then turned up & I decided it was best to leave her to the experts as many people had gathered.

I have been really shaken by this & hope she is OK, but have grave doubts.

I have looked at the news & tried to find a report of accidents etc without any news.

Any idea how I can find out the outcome from this? It is not morbid curiosity, more a hope that I will hear good news for this poor girl, or maybe able to help her family in some way.

Any ideas welcome.

Call the hong kong trafic branch they may want you to help with the investigation as a witness

how awful! i vividly remember a day when i was about 7 years old. there was a woman riding her bike. we were all outside and saw her pass. a couple of minutes later, a clearly drunk driver came screaching past. we could still see the woman on the bike and my uncle yelled, 'he's going to hit her!" and sure enough.... she looked like a rag doll flying through the air. she was DOA. it was terrible and something you never forget.

i hope the person you saw is ok.
