Holy Cow! I Just Realized It's Friday!

That means TGIF is less than 2 hours away... icicles are forming on the Molson Canadien... the sun is shining... and it's the weekend...
Off to Ubud tonight for a little jazzswafair... then a new dining experience with the hoi polloy at Cafe des Artistes... and afterwards, if I am permitted by my overseer, perhaps I shall drop in at Naughty Nuri's for ice gold beer...
What is everyone else up to?

Have fun Ed.
I will spend my time scouring Hong Kongs streets looking for one of those new 'foam backed' mouse pads I am hearing so much about...

Ah ha - you must be on the distribution list for our PR... we only have the samples now - we are saving up our lunch money to buy many boxes of them later in the yr... expect the blitz in Janvier of 10.
Here's the PR that went out today to our B2B contacts...
AsiaXPAT Sponsors the Singapore F1 Grand Prix
AsiaXPAT, the leading site for professionals, expats and executives in Asia puts the pedal to the marketing metal running multiple insertions of the AsiaXPAT television commercial on the live ESPN/STAR TV regional broadcast of the Formula One Grand Prix in Singapore this weekend.
“We chose to focus on this race because the evening start creates a unique spectacle and because the race falls in prime time across most of our key markets in the region generating huge exposure for our brand” commented AsiaXPAT Managing Director Paul Luciw when asked why they chose Singapore over other race destinations.
There had been speculation that AsiaXPAT would sponsor the two Ferrari’s in the race and that for the first time in the history of motor sport, the Ferrari red would be painted over in white to accommodate AsiaXPAT’s iconic red and black logo.
Mr. Luciw quashed that rumour stating, “While we see tremendous value in our association with F1 broadcasts, it is unlikely we would consider a team sponsorship until there was a switch to environmentally-friendly electric cars.”
The gentlemen start their engines just before 8pm Singapore time this Sunday. Be sure to tune in and enjoy watching AsiaXPAT on F1.
2010 AsiaXPAT Mouse Pads
In another extremely important development at the AsiaXPAT HQ high above the streets of Hong Kong, samples of the 2010 AsiaXPAT mouse pads were received this week.
AsiaXPAT has distributed nearly one million mouse pads to professionals, expats and executives in the region over the past 3 years and the launch of each year’s edition is an eagerly anticipated event.
AsiaXPAT General Manager John Luciw praised the new supplier that is producing the 2010 mouse pads claiming that, “we’ve reverted to a foam-backed version of the pad because it allows for crisper graphics and interacts well with the advanced infrared and laser mice that are now in common use. We’re very pleased with the samples and we are planning an initial order of 150,000 pieces.”
Stay tuned for more exciting announcements from The Number One Site for Professionals, Expats and Executives in Asia – AsiaXPAT!”

Numerous cold beers in the cooler evening. It's funny how in HK we get the `Spring' feeling in Autumn as it cools down and we can enjoy the outdoors again.
Best beer gardens in HK? (Where you can actually be served drinks...) Fringe?

Yet another night in with noodles and the TV.
Bad backs and sick pay have little to be desired...

Cold beers in large numbers sounds good to me. Or perhaps a Martini or two.

Yes... Yes.... that sounds great!
I have another idea... let's sing.... 1 and a 2 and a 3....
The Music:

The Lyrics:
Slow down, you move too fast.
You got to make the morning last.
Just kicking down the cobble stones.
Looking for fun and feelin' groovy.
Ba da, Ba da, Ba da, Ba da...Feelin' Groovy.
Hello lamp-post,
What cha knowin'?
I've come to watch your flowers growin'.
Ain't cha got no rhymes for me?
Doot-in' doo-doo,
Feelin' groovy.
I've got no deeds to do,
No promises to keep.
I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep.
Let the morning time drop all its petals on me.
Life, I love you,
All is groovy.

Already on the Molson perhaps...

Hogwash!
I'm certain I'm the slowest mover here and life is far from groovy. ;-)
