Where is the best place to buy genuine leather sofa besides Ulferts without having to pay an arm and a leg? The sofas in Giomani and Sofamark are not that great. Are custom made ones better? I am concerned they may not be of real or good quality leather. Any advice will be appreciated. I do see some L shaped sofas (L on the right) that look quite nice but they are either too large for my flat or the L is on the wrong side.

You will pay for quality here and you will get what you pay for. I think you have to decide if you want quality or a cheap price. You can pick up decent second hand stuff in these classifides if you are prepared to wait. Or if you want something that is ok and cheaper than HK I would go to Shenzhen - you can get decent quality for cheaper than HK. But if you want very good quality I'd stick to purchasing in HK but be prepared to pay.
