Moving in the same building

I'm moving apartments, up 5 floors, at the end of October and so don't need the whole removals team, just a couple of people for a couple of hours to take a few bulky items upstairs!

All the removal companies seem to have a basic, high set fee for a local move. Any ideas where I can just get the help I need?

we are doing the same tomorrow, but large 4 bedroom apartment filled with furniture. We have a company called Yan Yan Removalists. They are sending 7 guys, packing everything, and unpacking. Cost about HK$6k

Probably too late now ... but before you hire this company please PM me and I can give you some info - if you value your possessions you will want to know this. Wish I could put the info on this forum to protect others, but unfortunately I don't think I can ...

Try FTC Logistics. Good service. Not perfect, but if you supervise you'll be happy with them-

Following keichans message ... I also have some info on Yan Yan removalists that you may want to have before you use them. Perhaps moving up just 5 floors is fine but for a move across town ... I'd be happy to pm you and tell you more about how that goes with this company ... (argh!!)

beware of any mover with the initials Y.Y. as you would avoid Zin Rokh !
