Posted by cyberience (41 days ago)
Travelling From Hong Kong to Kowloon, a step into the borrowed land from China, and getting of the star Ferry, I was followed, interrogated and Frisked, and within an hour of detention, and a cup of coffee later, I had a new suit.

Maybe this kind of Humour is over some peoples head.

Kowloon was borrowed from China about as much as HK Island. Maybe you're thinking about the New Territories.

Wooosh their goes another one. maybe the replies are funnier that the joke posted,

Maybe the joke works better if you post it in English.
Was it a luxury suite ?
Did the hotel have a name, or was it in the back of Chunky Mansion ?

You got coffee and a suit in one hour, wow are they trying to break a record for suit making, that was quick, interested to find out if you got a biscuit thrown in, and also if anybody has ever had a suit made quicker? maybe Guiness Book of Records would know! Seriously though I hope your suit was good quality and you are happy with it.

...or maybe it was a new 'sweet' (not 'suite') with the coffee?
Posted by jassy67 (41 days ago)
So, is it a suite, sweet or suit ?
Was poor English..... or grammar...
Posted by totty chaise (41 days ago)
I hope you didn't have to share the suite with a large Nigerian with a huge but sweet.......oh, let's not go there, shall we?

could it be soot? he got soot all over from the vehicle emissions when he walked to get his coffee ?
is this some sort of haiku?
Posted by dadda (40 days ago)
I think the OP has gone into hiding as his "humour" may have been over his own head...

Hhahaha, you guys are killing time here...funny.

Nope, just working, and no time to play, ok I corrected the Suit word, I vote for the spell it free society. and I need a keyboard that can spell better, anyone got one?
Just goes to show, English as a second language seems stumped when they find a word that is similar or spilt wong, and have no idea what it could be.
(Spilt and wong is wrong on purpose)
