Quality Health care DB- anyone use them? Posted by Kim11 (25 days ago) I am looking for feedback on the Quality Health CAre in Discovery Bay. We have health cover there and I thought they might be a bit more Western than other Quality Health Care clinics. Anyone use them, what did you think? Thanks Find what you are after in our Hong Kong A-Z Directory  Posted by cara (25 days ago) there are two clinics in DB, Island Health & Discovery Bay Medical Centre, so i'm not really sure to which one you are referring. both have a mix of overseas chinese & western doctors. both are excellent.

Posted by GreenValleys (25 days ago) Interesting - we used QHC elsewhere and neverhad a problem with it needing to be 'more Western'. Both our doctors were local Chinese, trained in HK and overseas, spoke perfect English...
Posted by STK (25 days ago) hi there, I always use quality healthcare and have used admiralty, sheung wan and tseung kwan o - always had great dr's with perfect english so i wouldnt worry Posted by cara (25 days ago) i know what QHC is, i just wasn't aware that there was a new clinic in db. as i said previously, i was only aware of 2: DB Medical Centre and Island Health. Posted by Susie1 (24 days ago) There is only two medical centres in Db, as Cara mentioned, both of which have good reports, but I think the one above the Db pier (3) in Central is called Quality Health Care- it is a centre for investigative medicine, they do X-rays, scans etc, and you can see a specialist there, I have only been to their cardiology dept, and found them very good and thorough, and you need to be refered there by the general practitioner. I was asking becuase some of the local doctors in my area are very difficult to understand and don't seem to take anything except a fever seriously |
